Cannot get Tasks to appear in VS 2010 or 2012

description

For the life of me I cannot get the SSIS Extensions to appear in VS 2010 or 2012. I try to add them to the Toolbox by browsing to the dll installation (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\DTS\Tasks\SSIS.Extensions.dll and SSIS.Extensions.UI.dll) and it tells me "There are no components in path that can be placed on the toolbox.

Please help...

Ok so it seems Uninstall/Reinstall worked, but now I can't load a PGP Task. I drop one onto my Control Flow and double click on it, the IDE says "The task user interface specified by type name 'SSIS.Extensions.UI.PGPTask.PGPUI,SSIS.Extensions.UI,Version=2.0.0.0,Culture=neutral,PublicKeyToken=be2dd18b41995f85' could not be loaded. (Microsoft.DataTransformationServices.Design)

This fixed while back, there was an issue with the installer. Did you get it to work?

Try the new Installer.

I worked around it by dropping the dlls into the 32 bit folder.

Thanks MC.
