SFTP not removing remote files

description

I use SFTP Task from SSIS Extensions SQL 2012 64-bit

I am able to receive files (with Recievie files(s) option). Unfortunately when Remove Remote is set to True files on the remote server are not removed. Overwrite local works correctly and responds to setting True or False flag.

Do you have permission to delete file on the SFTP?

Yes. Using same credentials and various sftp clients I am able to delete the file.

The only walkaround I know is to use WinSCP to delete/move files after downloading them with "ssisextension". Guess, it's not the solution You are looking for ;)

Any progress on this? I feel as if the removeSource property is being ignored by the task. I can manually delete the files through an FTP client with the same credentials, so permissions are not the concern.

Due to my client's constraints, it's important I can delete files on the SFTP site after I download them.

This is now working as of the April 1, 2014 release. Thank you!
